Long time Waterfox user, I really like how their partnerships make it more likely that if/when Mozilla fully goes off the deep end (which they arguably already have), WF can continue on without needing to depend on downstreaming stuff from Firefox.

Obviously as it is the rule now; everyone is copying Arc. But why not doing it with style? I would very much like to see a browser that beautiful and more functional. This is not meeting that standards.

Not trying to copy Arc per se; Mozilla did all the work for Nova - I actually prefer it, it feels more grounded into how everyone is used to using a browser. I feel like there's little UX innovation left to be had with the interface of this bit of software.
Saying that, I always like adding extras on top - and I've spent a lot of time making sure users can tweak how they like. I didn't manage to squeeze everything into this final release, but the .1 release will re-expose a lot of customisations that are buried in `about:config` preferences.

The tab sidebar and borders are Arc signature; and Arc has a New Yorkish style blend into it that these browsers don't understand fully. I'm not sure how I can explain it good enough; but it's just that. I don't get the island designs and stuff.

I don't like this floaty crap, its a waste of space and looks trash. I realize waterfox was not the designers of it, but I complain here nonetheless.

There are a variety of appearance settings - the landing page has a demo of the 3 variations.

Existing user who had no complaints before, but I have one now: it has started dumping a Waterfox directory in my home directory.
Tried yet again to use their default search engine. Got a captcha which requires me to enable js on a 3rd party site. Noped out again.
